Microsoft 365 Reveal
Microsoft

____
Throughout its lifetime, the way people use Microsoft Office has evolved to be less…. officey. The apps are increasingly used outside of work to support people's daily lives, and Microsoft felt that it was time for the brand to evolve along with the customers. Microsoft Office officially became Microsoft 365, which featured the same apps that everyone uses every day wrapped in a unified look. They asked us to create a video that helped introduce the new Microsoft 365 and showcased the beauty of the updated product.

____
We came up with a narrative of planning a birthday party using Microsoft 365 and then focused on vignettes of the different products that you would have at your disposal.

____
The video was meant to capture the beauty and excitement of the product, allowing us to have a bit of fun with each moment and coming up with unique ways of showcasing the UI.

____
Pulling from the new Microsoft 365 brand palette allowed us to create bright and colorful compositions that were the perfect celebratory vibe for the occasion.

____
Process

____
We started this project before the Microsoft 365 brand team had finalized the look and feel of the product, so our process evolved in realtime with the brand.

____
Some of our early explorations lived in a moodier, more purple space until we eventually aligned with the new branding, bringing it into the bright, colorful world of the final video.
